I have a rather small collection of Blu-Rays but it’s growing every week. So I decided to start a series where I’m going to go through my collection and discuss a little about each film. This will probably take me a long time but gives me the opportunity to delve into some of my favorite films and some of the weird guilty pleasures. The first film off the shelf is the 2007 remake, 3:10 to Yuma.
As far as remakes go I don’t know if there’s a better one than 3:10 to Yuma. The original is good but this one blew me away. Christian Bale and Russel Crowe are two of the best actors working (Bale being one of my all time favorites) and they’re incredible but Ben Foster steals this film away from both of them. James Mangold is a great director, made many excellent films and this remake is in my opinion his best work.
